NTSWA is happy to announce they are now able to accept plastics #1-7 from any location they are currently accepting plastics from. This includes your drop-off location!  This means that the Athens Township Recycle Center ill now be accepting these plastics. This includes, but is not limited to, soda and water bottles, milk and laundry jugs, shampoo bottles, butter tubs, yogurt containers, tv dinner trays, food clamshells, and plastic film. All plastics can be grouped together.

The Athens Township Recycle Center (ATRC) is located on Herrick Avenue between the Athens Twp. Municipal building and the Athens Twp. Fire Hall.

Hours of operation:
Thursdays from 4 PM to 7 PM
Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM

The Athens Township Recycle Center is a drop-off facility where residents can bring recyclables to be "dropped off" in the proper collection bins. All recyclables need to be sorted.  Our recycling employees are there to assist you in seeing the proper items are placed in the proper bins.
